As I was afraid seems like I have to take it for repair. 😞 I don't' understand how did simply removing the battery can cause that much damage to the system

my laptop won't turn on even after I've tried the hard reset thing. what happens when i press the power button is the LED for the power button and the LED for the wifi button glow but nothing happens beyond that. help please ;A;

Hi, my mother in law has a Pavilion DV6 and is having this same fault.

Whenever we try to switch it on the light by the CAPS lock blinks once, as does the light next to the monitor symbol above the built in track pad, as does the light above and between the 'end' and 'pg up' buttons. The fan whirls briefly.

i have followed your instructions and powered down the battery, currently when the battery is removed and the power source is connected the light next to the power connection it lit.

I would be grateful, as would she!, if you could help, if you require any more info then please let me know.
