I was installing icloud on my laptop and it said I need to restart, so I ok it, then my laptop went to blue screen with hp logo on and a progress circle. This was taking forever so I switched it off with the power button. Now it wont switch back on. The power will go on, the fan is working, butit's stuck on the same screen, or sometimes says something about automatic repair, and then goes to blank blue screen. Pls help.

HP Pavilion dv7 running Windows 7 will not turn on.  I have tried the draining the power without the AC adapter and battery.  Nothing on the keyboard lights up at this point.  There are no lights on the AC adapter to verify whether the AC adapter is defective or if this is a hardware issue.

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running windows 7.  The power cord got knocked out the other day and the battery ran out.  I plugged it back in,  and let it charge up.  But now the computer won't start.  The lights come on and the fan starts for a couple of seconds and then the LEDs start blinking.  I have tried the gard reset a couple of times with no luck and have tried reseting the memory.  Any other suggestions?

My hp pavilion dm4 won't start up...i uninstalled some software and decided to restart. After restarting,my laptop won't start up. It tells me to launch start up repair but after loading it just shows the welcome page(without the welcome) and stays there. I've tried the other solutions here but nothing so far. Please help!

I have tried to let my laptop charge on it's old battery and with a new battery I have bought. When I press the power button the screen does not boot up. The only lights showing are the wifi light is on and this is orange and the caps lock button flashes with a white light. Everything else is dead?
