HP Pavilion dv7 running Windows 7 will not turn on. I have tried the draining the power without the AC adapter and battery. Nothing on the keyboard lights up at this point. There are no lights on the AC adapter to verify whether the AC adapter is defective or if this is a hardware issue.

Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop running windows 7. The power cord got knocked out the other day and the battery ran out. I plugged it back in, and let it charge up. But now the computer won't start. The lights come on and the fan starts for a couple of seconds and then the LEDs start blinking. I have tried the gard reset a couple of times with no luck and have tried reseting the memory. Any other suggestions?

I tried the troubleshoot on th link that you've posted and it didnt work. It still has the same problem.
After pressing the power button only the lights of the wifi and sound turns orange then nothing. No sound of any fan functioning. the model of my laptop is 15-e040sa
