Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I'm wanting to download the latest version of the Firmware for my laptop but something with the "booting" of the computer won't let me.

 

I recently bought DOUBLE LAYER DVD+R DL Recordable discs to convert my downloaded movies to but I can't do it without the latest Firmware.

 

How do I bypass the "booting" issue to get this update?

The only firmware I see listed on your Support page is for Hitachi hard drive. Do you have a Hitachi?

 I really don't know what hard drive firmware would have to do with DVD+R DL disks. What software are you using to burn movies to the dvd?
