Unpacked the unit set it up plugged it in lights show its charging(4hrs) now it won't turn on is it a lemon?

I understand you're experiencing issues starting up your Chromebook 14.

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

When you try to turn it on, do you hear the fan running? Or do you get any beeping noises/blinking lights? 

Have you performed any troubleshooting steps performed before posting this on HP forums?
