Hello,
after the installation of Win 10 64 bit I have the following problem:
My notebook does not shut down completely.
The hard drive and screen turns off, but the Power LED and the Fan is still running.
After 10 min the system begins to restart.
I installed the windows 8.1 64bit drivers from the HP website.
I also istalled the newest BIOS version.
Can anybody help me?
My notebook:
Sorry for my english.
best regards from Germany

Hello,
Welcome to the HP Support forum. Welcome to the English speaking community.
Note, that if you prefer speaking in German, HP has German forum with German speaking community > http://h30492.www3.hp.com/
With regards to your issue:
I am afraid your PC does not officially support Windows 10. Supported are XP, Vista, 7 and 8/8.1 - but not Windows 10.
HP hasn't officially released drivers for Win 10, hasn't officially tested Windows 10 on this PC and variety of issues may occur.
It is recommended that you run either Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8.1 (both are stable and supported by the vendor - Microsoft)
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
Tschüss 🙂
