You're very welcome, Ralucasan:

Did you install the chipset driver?  If not, install that first and reboot.

I'm thinking you need this driver for the PCI device. It is not on your notebook's support and driver page.

And I know this is the driver you need for the 0004

For the first one, try downloading and installing the driver from the following weblink:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57171.exe

For the second one, try downloading and installing the driver from the following weblink:

Hi!

I have an HP Pavilion , Product No: B6Q53EA#AKE and there is 1 driver missing: PCI Simple Communications Controller.

Can someone please tell me where I can find it and what driver category is it?

Thanks,

Dana

Hello once again, Paul!

Hewlett Packard (once) had a Program; much like Microsoft's Update Manager, that would offer to install an "Active X" where they would scan your computer and tell you whether you needed any software updates or not and give you a "thumbs-up" if everything was "O.K."!  Buying 'de-commissioned' HP Business Desktops, I often find myself 'challenged' in determining what on my computer needed upgrading/updating and what did not.  I was thinking of asking you to approach HP with the suggestion of implementing such a program again, on our behalf!  Your Expertise on the subject would be unchallenged!  Think it over .......

Kindest Regards, wfejnieh2

Hi, wfejnieh2:

There is already such a thing out there for older PC's:
