Hi,
You need a chipset driver:
or you can download the latest drivers from Intel:
HP Touchpad provided by HP
HP Microserver Gen8 10TB Debian Server

@Hayito wrote:Indeed it was updated but its still showing this error
1) Shown as unknown device
2) drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)
Try the Intel UPDATE INF utility. It will find the latest driver directly from Intel.

Hi:
That is definitely the driver you need as I originally posted.
Here are the hardware ID's supported by that driver in the setup information file...
;--------- Manufacturer and Models Sections ----------------------------------
[Manufacturer]
%MfgName% = Intel, NTx86.6.0, NTx86.5.2, NTx86.5.1, NTamd64
[Intel.NTx86.6.0]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
%HECI_DeviceDesc%=HECI_DDI, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64
[Intel.NTx86.5.2]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
%HECI_DeviceDesc%=HECI_DDI, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64
[Intel.NTx86.5.1]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
%HECI_DeviceDesc%=HECI_DDI, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64
[Intel.NTamd64]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
%HECI_DeviceDesc%=HECI_DDI_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64
So, I would try manually installing the driver.
Go to the device manager and click on the PCI Simple Comms Controller needing a driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be in C:\SWSetup\sp46693.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
