Hi:

I need to know what the full model number of your G6 is, because there are different variations of the Realtek card reader driver and intel management engine interface (which are the drivers you need for those devices).

@Wilzy

Please try these drivers:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52501-53000/sp52798.exe
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48617.exe

If these do not help, please provide the information Paul has asked for.

I am an HP employee.

Regards,
Vidya

Hello,

Another issue with a HP Probook 6550b

Product Number: XB763PA#ABG

Driver needed is: PCI Simple Communictions Controller

Device Instance ID is:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_1471103C&REV_06\3&B1BFB68&0&B0

Hardware IDs are:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_1471103C&REV_06

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&SUBSYS_1471103C

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&CC_078000

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3B64&CC_0780

My fan also spins up quite high, occasionally while just sitting on the desk, not sure if this is related, and if you're not sure, I can just do a warrenty call on it.

Thanks!

-Brad

Thank you Paul.

Needed for a Folio 13 2000. This driver isn't included on the driver site.

There is a Realtek driver, but it's incomplete.

To bad I don't work for HP and could help resolve this, oh wait, I do. But I'm just a hardware field tech.
