hp pavilion g6 1156se
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a 1156se, I had to install new windows and all the drivers are gone. I downloaded the network drivers you have here but still the adaptor cannot connect to the internet through wireless.

It lacks all the PCI drivers.

Where I can find them?

Thanks

Hello @pedped,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel.

I came across your post about the PCI drivers, and wanted to assist you!

I understand that you installed a new Operating System.  Did you install Windows 7, or did you upgrade from Windows 7 to a different Operating System?  I recommend using the Recovery Manager to restore the drivers.  You can review these documents to help you, if needed:

HP PCs - Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 7)

HP PCs - Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet connection (Windows 7)

You can also have a look at the following resource:

PCI Device Drivers Download (Not a HP supported Web site).

Have a great day!

Thank you for responding to my question.

I installed a new windows and it is windows 7. I mistakenly deleted the old.winsdows folder where there were all the driver files in it. I dont know if I use the recovery it would help since the old.windows is deleted.

It is Windows 7 62bit version.

Hello I used the link you suggested but the problem is not solved yet, also the windows 7 cannot solve the issue and is asking to be connected to the internet. Since my PCI controller and Bus controller do not work I cannot connect to the Internet to solve the issue and I have to use another computer, find the drivers and put them on usb and try to install them on the Laptop.

Is there any way you could give me a link to find PCI controller and Bus controller for this device?
