Get rid of Bios version f.14 first. It may have some issues and upgrade to F.15.

 

When you run some games or application on AMD, it will still say Intel is the GPU running but actually its the AMD operating. Intel and AMD is being shared same driver structure on most HP products. 

 

Download this small application and it will tell you which GPU is activated on its window. 

 

1st: Run on Intel

 

2nd: Run assigned on AMD.

I was experiencing the same problems described in this thread. My machine is a Pavilion 15 e013tx (same intel 4000/HD8670m combo as mentioned before).

 

After much fooling around with drivers from AMD and HP to no avail, I finally got the switchable graphics to work with these 3rd party drivers

I used them on windows 7 x64. I haven't tested on windows 8, but they're supposedly compatible

i have the same problem with my machine ..hp pavilion 15-n020se

with amd 8330/and amd 8670m ..

we really need to update our bios to see the switchable graphic into fixed

i have been searching for month about my problem .. and i think the only solution for this problem is the bios update ..

 

so please support us ...

Same problem here. It can't belive that my first laptop can not use GPU because HP did not provide corect and working drivers... Anyways, I`m not going to buy another HP laptop ever!
