Hello everybody, please:-)
I have a problem installing the "Power peak manager", after starting the installation (start->next) the installation ends with the info windows, "not supported by this system", or something similar.
what should I do? I do not believe, that I am the only one:-)
win 8.1 pro 64bit, HP Probook 640

I got the confirmation that this is for Japan manufactured units only. It will not work for any other units manufactured for other countries. As this option is not supported by the hardware configuration of your system, it is not installing.
Please ignore installing this software. Sorry for the confusion caused.

Hello, thanks, but I have tried it for many times. I tried another versions too (win 7 etc.)
this version is not functional.
"This software is not supported on this system"
My Probook 640 is 1 month old, all upgrades and updates installed

My investigation shows that you need to have "Power Control" option enabled in BIOS to install HP Power Peak Manager and this is only enabled for Japan customers. Are you from Japan? Have you used HP Power Peak Manager before upgrading to Windows 8.1?
