Dear All,

I have a Probook 4520s with windows 7. currently I'm experiencing slow booting of the OS & several error messages in the bootup hence in order to get those issues corrected I have decided to reinstall the OS.

But I don't know how to do it, I have full admin access to the PC & all the recovery DVDs

Kindly help me

Rgds,

Hi,

There are different ways to perform HP recovery.

i) As soon as you turn the computer ON keep tapping F11 to start the recovery

ii) If you want to use the discs then first insert disc 1 and then shut the computer down. When turning it ON keep tapping F9 and select the CD/DVD Rom drive and hit enter twice. This will start the recovery from the discs.

You can also refer this link for more instructions:

Just remember to back up your data before starting the recovery process as it'll wipe out all data and will become like the first day you got the notebook from HP.
