Hello

I have  a probook4520s I had win 7 installed and network wired and wireless worked good and fast...

Installed Windows 8 pro, now I have only wireless works and it is slow, and it says i have realtek card and bluetooth, BUT keeps saying cable unplugged and no bluetooth...

I suspect a driver issue because it worked so fast in win 7, and it is a known Good cable...

no lights blink at the netcable port either...on windows 8

any help appreciated...Thanks

Did you purchase your notebook before or after October 1, 2011? If you purchased it prior to this date, HP will not be producing Windows 8 drivers for the notebook, but the hardware manufacturer may. If the product was purchased after that date you'll just need to watch the product's software and driver page for the drivers to be released.

Here is more information about the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8.

However, there is a work around that was brought up in another thread that has seemed to work for some, by installing the drivers in compatibility mode.

Here is a link to that thread in case you want to try it: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-e-g-Windows-8-and-Software/I-have-software-n...
