Envy M7-k111dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was wondering, since I was able to upgrade my HDD into an SSD, if I could upgrade the processor as well. 2.6ghz is a bit low for me, and I don't really need it to be an i7. Also, if I can upgrade, where would I purchase the processor from?

Model no. is Envy M7-k111dx, processor is i7-4510u.

Thanks in advance,

Based on the following guide, the Processor for your product is attached to the System Board, and can not be upgraded.  To upgrade the Processor, you would need to replace the System Board: HP ENVY 17 Notebook PC HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC HP ENVY m7 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide (Chapter 1, Page 1).

Alright, thanks for the information. Bummer that I can't upgrade, oh well.
