Hi,
HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15
série: {Personal Information Removed}
Windows 8.1 64bits
Run sp59532.exe installer executed with crash SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (after 100% on the blue screen just stops...must reboot by my action).
After 3 attempts i dicided to use “Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers” with the same result.
In the device manager the “Bluetooth áudio bus device” is with an exclamation (!), under de “outher devices” the Bluetooth controller as the same warning.
(Note:Tryed to connect using a usb Bluetooth “conceptronic bluetooth adapter nano v2”, does recognize the adaptor when i try to connect to Windows phone 8 gives de acess code….connects…and then hangs up to never more.)

Hi Daniel,
sp64949.html lists HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 Notebook PC Series
Try installing Mediatek Bluetooth Software Driver 2013-12-21, Version 11.0.748.2 which offers the file sp64949.exe for download.

Mike,
Are you reading these blogs in response to you? Everyone single one says your ideal IS NOT WORKING, but you still give the same advise which is to install the...Mediatek Bluetooth Software Driver 2013-12-21, Version 11.0.748.2 which offers the file sp64949.exe IT DOES NOT WORK. There is alot more going on here that Microsoft, ect. is telling its CUSTOMERS. I think it stinks and sucks that it is always the ones that pays for the HP computers, Windows 8, ect. that gets stuck with the bill and all we/I get is try this, when you know it DOES NOT WORK!!!! Can you aleast try something else and gives us a break. Thank you!

Hi,
All I can say for sure is that the driver is working on my Notebook (HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j003sg Notebook PC
Product Number: D9V73EA). I went through a lot of pain before I got to this point. Initially I had just run through some Windows Updates and I updated my BIOS, then I was faced with the system crashing. That was at the end of last year. That was when I made my first post here. After that I learned quite a bit and I tried to share that with the community, giving back to the place where I had received some help.
As part of the process I did call HP support and they did give me some advice.
I'm sorry that I can't solve your problem. If I have misled you at any time, I do apologise. I'm just another Notebook user though. I don't provide or test drivers. All I did was to repost links of drivers that I had found whilst trying to get my own Notebook running again.

Mike,
I was unaware that you are not a Microsoft employee in one way are another. I am sorry. I thought you worked for them just giving the same generic reply every time. Forgive, I did not know. You are just trying to help.
I am just desperate to find an answer to my HP Envy 23 Touch's bluetooth dissapearing problem. I am running the Windows 8.1 64bit with media. Really donkt like it, but its paid for. My bluetooth just vanished one day, and like everyone else here; trying to find out why and a solution. I am so suprised that Microsoft has not seen all of these blogs and stepped into help. Go figure. Maybe one day they will send an update.
Sorry agian Mike, and thank you for all your help.

Hi James,
Thanks for explaining why you were getting frustrated. These are HP forums not Microsoft forums and most of the people posting are users. There are a few HP employees who assist as well. They show up with a blue HP support logo on the left-hand side, like Dunidar who made some contributions to this thread.
I had a quick look on the HP support site support.hp.com and it looks like the model you mention is an All-in-One Desktop PC rather than a notebook. Also you say that your bluetooth just vanished one day. So you have a different model to me and a different issue. My original issue was that I couldn't find a driver which would install without an installation error or without crashing the operating system with an error message "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED". Also your model is not on the list of supported models for the driver which I recommended.
Before you go any further, you might like to check on support.hp.com to see if you can find a recommended driver for your model.
If I am right about your model being an All-in-One PC Desktop PC then I suggest you write a new post in the TouchSmart forum describing your issue. It's helpful if you state your exact model number and I saw that Dunidar gave some links to another user:
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
Which Windows operating system am I running?
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows/which-operating-system
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02033168
That would make your new posting more effective.
Good luck!
Mike
