I did try this with no luck, I have also un-installed and re-installed with no luck. There does not seem to be a soulution to this problem. I have lost all faith in HP for not solving this problem and blaming it om Ralink. HP has the resorces for writing its own driver for this but thet refuse to do it. This will be the last HP I will own.

It's a shame how HP never really showed any special care for this issue. I've ended attaching up a wifi dongle. I've always looked into HP as a reliant brand at least in the printers businesss, but for now on I'll prefer to look into the cheaper brands I've worked with in the past has they never gave me such problems and such incapacity to solve them as this... This was the first and last HP laptop I bought.

I boght an All In One Envy Recline one week ago! Everything was working fine till I decided to upgrade to Windows 10. Now, I cant use my wifi network! Sometimes it is not even shown in the list of available networks! Sometimes it is there, but I cant connect to it! And sometimes I connect to the wifi network, but after a few minutes, the connection gets very very slow!
I tried to uninstall and re-install the newer driver (that I've download from mediatek web site), without success! I dont know what I can do anymore! I am about to buy an usb wifi adapter!

Hello!
I bought this HP 250 G3 notebook with 2 GB memory before christmas with windows 7. I upgraded to win10 home 64 bit, and I had the same problem - sometimes the wifi connection is lost. It seems, that when I am close to the wifi router, and the baud rate is good enough, there is no problem. When I go a little bigger distance from the router, and the baud rate is less than 54 Mbps, then the connection is lost, and I can not reconnect.
I think, that the Ralink RT-3290 802.11 driver has a little bug - it should automatically use a less baud rate when the wifi potential is not enough.

Hi Iraqiaryan,
Please tell the others what really worked ... there are many who need assistance 🙂 🙂
If you don't want to write too much ... the time of the post should help others 🙂
I have had my Wifi "max'ing out" once or twice - limited by my Internet provider not by my PC.
Thank you & regards,
