I have HP Pavilion model dv-6153sr.  The description under the battery says that the Broadcom BCM94313 adapter is installed. However  Ralink RT539 is installed. I have installed  the newest Mediatek/Ralink driver (ver 5.0.37),but  it didn't work. I'm planning to use an external adapter to solve this problem.

Disable the Kaspersky NDIS 6 Filter

Ont the right of the taskbar, right ckicl on the wifi bars and open network and sharing.  Click on your wifi connection, mine is 2 wire, and then at the bottom left click the properties button. Uncheck the Kaspersky NDIS 6 filter and click ok. When that fixed my problem, I went with Viper or McAfee.

Hi

My Ralink W-Fi driver is gone How I can download it?

We have had a HP G6 for a number of years which has always had flakey wifi. On reading this forum I replaced the Ralink RT 5390 with a Broadcom 4313 bought from ebay for $15. 10 minutes changing the card and 10 minutes dowinloading the drivers from the HP web site and hay presto - wifi fixed.

Years of drop-outs fixed in a 20 minutes.

Hello @cmissyjones,

I understand you're unable to get an appropriate driver for the Ralink RT5390 WiFi adapter. According to the manufacturer of that adapter you should be able to download and use the one from the link below:

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

Thank you,
