Hello @vishalsinghal
Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.
Note that I moved your post into a separate yours dedicated thread (here) so that we keep it clean and in one place.
Try using Reve Uninstaller free in an attempt to remove the leftover(s) from existing installation >> https://www.revouninstaller.com/
Try performing Deep Scan of your Windows Registry using WISE Registry Cleaner (portable app) and remove any issues it may find
>> https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/wise-registry-cleaner-portable
Eventually,
1. Unregister and re-register Windows Installer service and components. How to here >> https://www.howtogeek.com/184374/how-to-fix-the-windows-installer-service-could-not-be-accessed-erro...
2. Attempt to uninstall Microsoft .NET framework if you have it installed. Restart the PC.
Reinstall latest version from here >> https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344
3. Try to download and use the latest version of HP Client Security Manager for your PC model from here >> http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74933.exe
Attempt to run the file. If it detects previous version installed, proceed with uninstallation.
If it does not detect previous version, proceed with clean installation
If you have performed all of the above, please post again with details about what is the currect status and what you have performed. I hope my suggestions help. Provide your feedback/reply.

Hi,
HP Client Security Manager is a different program but is basically newer version of HP Protect Tools security manager.
Protect Tools is an obsolete variant but based on your latest screenshots it looks like you have HP Protect Tools installed or some left overs. Could you try uninstall them with Revo.
Also, try using this installer file >> http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48447.exe
It is for Protect Tools manager
Let's see if it helps.

the software provided by you, installed properly but when i tried to manage the account, it showed error (pre boot security path error). so i uninstalled it and tried the hp client security (latest). it terminated again with the errors mentioned in earlier reply.

OK, that is stubborn 🙂
Please, make sure you uninstall any HP Protect Tools and HP Client Security tool you see listed in Control Panel > Programs and features
Eventually, try with an old tool from Microsoft called msicuu2.exe / Windows Installer Clean Up utility :
Save it on your desktop. Right click to run it as administrator.
You will see entries for apps installed via Windows Installer service. Be very careful and look for any leftovers in the list from
HP Protect Tools
or
HP Client Security Manager
Select them only and choose the delete them using the tool.
Close the tool.
Restart your PC and attempt to install HP CSM again.
Let me know if this works.

Hello,
In such a case there is no entry that the tool can delete. The problem is somewhere else, probably some leftover in the Windows Registry or some file stuck somewhere
In such a case you have 3 other options I can think of:
1. Reinstall the entire operating system - perform clean installation or perform factory reset (HP Recovery) - depending on how your Windows has initially been deployed
2. Install the old version of Protect Tools and use it instead
3. Contact HP Support for business for additional assistance to see if they can help with any further tips and tricks
Check your private messages for additional details. If you are not sure, you can check here how private messages work.
