I installed the firs one (ethernet controller) it was working but then it says: cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer.

Could you also help me with that ?

Are you going to reply on my post 😕 ?

Hi:

Try the driver directly from Intel.  The hardware ID you posted is for an Intel ethernet adapter.

The first file listed is for W7 32 bit.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18713/Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-7-

I was going to ask you...

How come you couldn't get W7 x64 to install?

I have an 8200 Elite which is the same model as yours except it has a slightly better Intel series 6 chipset than yours does.

I had no problem installing W7 x64 on it.

Well I don't know a lot of computers not even a bit to be honnest,

yesterday I downloaded 64 bit that failed and accidently didn't read that was 32 bit and normally I had Windows 7 Professional but the download changed my entire windows to Windows 7 Ultimate but they saved all the file to windows.old (computer) that's why i didn't know what to do if what you are saying is not working I will reset my computer and hopefully everything will work, sadly my windows.old folder is to big it's about 70GB and my USB stick can only get 7GB on it.

I'm going to download  the things u gave me 🙂

Interesting...

Perhaps you can order a W7 Pro x64 recovery disk set for your PC directly from HP for the country you live in at the link below.  Have the serial number of the PC handy to give to the customer services rep.

To delete the Windows.old folder (after you have gotten any files from it you don't want to lose), run the disk cleanup utility.

Once the disk cleanup window shows up on your desktop, click on the Cleanup System Files button and then it will run again and come back up.

Then you can check the boxes to delete the files such as Windows.old.

That will free up a lot of disk space.

Thanks!

Internet is already working WHERE I'M REALLY HAPPY ABOUT now I need to fix PCI serial port, PCI Simple Communications Controller, SM Bus Controller.

Could you give me the links for windows 7 32 bit ?

I don't know for what I need it but I would like to solve it.

Hi:

The links I posted for those devices are for both 32 and 64 bit.

Click on the View All link next to the 64 bit and it shows all the versions the driver is good for.

Okay I will try it, I really appriciate it that you are spending a lot of time of your life to help members! 🙂

It did work those devices but now something has been added to Ports (COM & LPT) named: Inter(R) Active Management Technology - SOL (COM3)

Could you help me with it ?

That is what you are supposed to be seeing.

You should be able to collapse that category.

If there is an exclamation point next to it, check to make sure AMT is enabled in the BIOS.

When you disable AMT in the BIOS, then it puts the ! next to that device.
