Hi everyone,
I have Pavilion P211-NT and Windows 8.1 installed. I have working recovery partition right now.
I've created recovery backup on USB. Tested it by booting my notebook from this USB and confirmed it works.
I want to clean install Windows 10 and install Ubuntu 16.04 alongside Windows (dualboot). As far as I know if I delete Windows 8.1's partition or install another operating system, recovery partition will be damaged(even if I don't delete recovery partition).
What I wonder is, can I fix or recreate harmed recovery partition by using this USB?
Best regards

Then how can I to that?
As I understand, if reset my notebook using this recovery USB, everything will be as same as when I bought it, including recovery partition. So even if I delete my recovery partition, it will recreate by this recovery USB after I reset my notebook.
Did I understand you right? If I didn't get you, can you please explain?
Thank you

Yes you can get back recovery partition when you factory reset using HP Recovery USB that you created using HP Recovery Manager.
