Pavillion x360 11-k120nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi My 500 gb Hard drive for Pavillion x360  11-k120nr recently crashed. I havea few questions for this issue.

 1. Can i replace it by SSD's? If so please send me some links that would be compatible to my model

2. If not, please send me some links for SATA that would fit my model.

3. My windows backup is inside the crashed HDD? How would i put the windows in the new HDD or SSD?

Thank You !

Hi @beep_in,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you wanted to know how to replace the hard drive of your HP Pavilion x360 - 11-k120nr and also few other questions.

Ans 1 and 2: You cannot replace it with SSD, it has to HDD only. You may check the link: Removing and Replacing the Hard Disk Drive for HP Pavilion x360 Notebook PCs

Ans 3: You cannot get back the backup on the new HDD.

You have a good day ahead.
