Hi @aadithyankr,
Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
As I understand the computer shuts down automatically when playing games. Don't worry, though, as I have a few suggestions which should help to resolve this issue,
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
What type of game are you playing? Is it from the computer, CD or online
Have you performed any changes on the PC before the issue started?
Have you tried performing updates?
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
* In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.
* In the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
* Under System Failure, remove the check mark next to automatically restart, and then click OK.
* Restart the computer to apply the change.
* The computer no longer restarts automatically when a blue screen error occurs.
For more details: click here
You could also try to perform a Bios update and Chipset drivers from our support website.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to run the System diagnostics test as well as an extensive test on the Hard drive and Memory from F2(Please remember to capture the failure ID for further assistance).
Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.
If you wish to help others looking for the same solution as you've found, mark the post as Accepted Solution.
If you wish to show appreciation for my effort, please click the Thumbs up icon at the bottom of my comment.
And I Hope you have a good day, Ahead.

I appreciate your time and efforts,
As I understand the computer shuts down only when playing games and you have already tried updating the bios and running the test and still seems to have the same issue.
Just wanted to check if the computer shuts down or does it restarts automatically.
