i'm having the same problem. however, when i change the plan settings, it doesn't have any positive effect. i can have the network adapter setting on maximum performance (making sure that i'm in "power saver mode". i've changed network adapter to maximum performance in all power modes to make sure i wasnt missing anything) and it still does nothing.

i can be halfway through the speedtest.net speedtest getting a .27mbits/s, plug the charger in and it will immediately jump up to 8-12 mb/s. instantaniously. therefore, i know for a fact it is a problem with one of the settings in the power menu.

please help.

i really like this new computer until i experience the laggy, battery power settings.

i just had to update my wireless adapter driver. immediately after installation i was hitting 22mb/s download.
