My problem is, that the five, six, dash and he squiggle line on the far left of the keyboard do not work. The enter key is on it's way out as well. The f keys no longer work either except f1. Product number is A1L49AV and it's a HP 2000 Notebook PC. Had for about two years.

Hi Shawnlegent,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using the forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I understand you are having an issue with some of the keys on the keyboard. If you connect an external keyboard does it work properly? If so then it is not hardware. Have you run the The HP Support Assistant to help with updates and resolving issues?
Have you tried running Ms Fix it to assist you with resolving this issue?
Here is a link to Notebook Keyboard Troubleshooting (Windows 7) that may also help.
If it is the keyboard that is malfunctioning, here is a link to the HP 2000 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide, please note page 18, item 2 for replacement keyboards.
