Thank you very much for the detail and quick response, Reagfree. In order to get your issue addressed, did you have to reach out to HP other than through this Support Forum? Did you have to call the Customer Service line or anything, or did rick-s, the Moderator above, take your issue and escalate it? I'm just trying to figure out what my next steps should be. It was all done through the support forum . Several different moderators forwarded it to different offices or people with specialities or whatever and it finally ended up and Health & Safety. The only direct contact was made through the final representative with health and safety through email. Just be careful and verify who everyone is lots of scammers out there.

Yes, Rick s was one of the moderators but there were a couple more. But he will definitely get it on it in the right direction. Good luck

OMG thats horrific- Ive just bought mine and its already overheating day 1 (only been running for 3 hrs) so I am very concerned about the possible lifespan of this laptop and the dangers of having ti in my home or office. I ahve takena video and will throroughly record the problems I face- not keen on setting up ANOTHER computer!!! im wasting valuable work time here

 

I just returned a HP desktop that was crashing from day 1 now Ive got this HP laptop and having similar probs.

 

So dissappointed  as I have been using HP for ten years without problems.
