I have had my notebook for about 8 months. From almost the beginning I have been having a small glitch with my touchpad. Sometimes when I highlight text to be copied and pasted (especially more than a few lines), I lose touchpad control. The only way I've found to get it back is to put the screen down - briefly, like a second - and then lift it back up.

Driver is updated. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Problem still present. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked your Support page for a newer driver or BIOS update that might address problems?

Have you gone to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound and opened Synaptics to try to adjust sensitivity?

I have the newest driver but am not comfortable doing a BIOS update. Have been experimenting with the sensitivity - seems to help a little but touchpad still doesn't seem to be responding appropriately. Have made an appointment at the microsoft store where I bought it to have them take a look. Thanks for your suggestions!
