Laptop Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
Like many people on here, my laptop has stopped going beyond the welcome page with the pretty photos - but the space to put in login details hasn't appeared. No buttons I've pressed work. Turned off and on again quite a few times - nothing. All the suggestions on here say to start in safe mode or go to these special option pages etc, but as literally no button / button combo I know does anything at all, how do I achieve this?! I've tried F8, F11, every F-ing F, Ctrl-alt-del, shift, windows, screaming. Nada.

I think it's Windows 10. I haven't renewed, updated etc recently - just happened when I turned on today. I don't know tech speak...please help! Can I take it back to where I bought it?

I'm afraid I don't know what kind of HP laptop I have - it has a label Envy, Model 15-w104na. Less than 1y old.

Just to be clear - I haven't downloaded/upgraded/ messed around with it in weeks. I have nothing attached to it. I only use it for watching shows and a few Word documents. I'm a victim! And in need to apply for a job where the deadline is Sunday night!!
