Daniel,

I'm sure the answer to our laptop touchscreen problem is out there in cyberspace. Most of us have search the entire net to find the answer to "touchscreen stop working after installing Win7". Therefore, can you "please" save us from any additional searching by listing "all the steps, 1, 2, 3, etc"  in one message that will solve this problem. This information will help us get our HP Laptop working for what we paid for, "touchscreen".

Your previous answer does not solve this problem. I have uninstalled touchpad and installed the link you provided, and my touchscreen still does not scroll.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello.

I have a HP G62-a18SO that I installed Windows 7 on.

And lost all scrolling on the touchpad.

Also can't use the microphone.

I've installed the official sound driver from the HP website, together with the latest touchpad/keyboard drivers.

But nothing seems to work.

I also tried installing the alternative driver you posted, but I may have gotten the wrong version of it, since I just copied a link you sent regarding someones other computer 🙂

Thanks!

Hi,

I suspect that you do not know that by default is enabled Two - Finger Scrolling. If you want to use only one finger for scrolling then check the link below:

How to change Two - Finger Scrolling on One - Finger Scrolling in Synaptics TouchPad software.
