Hi, I've got a HP Pavilion dv41220us model and since I've installed the win7 the scroll pad on the right stopped working the other functions on the touchpad are working fine. 

I started to install the ALPS driver you pointed below and my laptop gave me a message that I've already had the never version of that driver...

I checked my mouse settings it seems all right.

Any ideas more than appreciated:)

Hi,

Uninstall your current driver for ALPS TouchPad and reboot system.

 

Resource:
Uninstalling Software in Windows 7

Uninstall or change a program in Windows 7

 

Download and install latest driver from here and reboot again.

Please write your notebook product number (p/n). You'll find it at the bottom of the laptop on a sticker.

Dear Sir,

 

I got the same problem. My scrolling not working after installing window 7.

 

I do not have a web cam software now and my fingure scan also not working. And Media Smart also....

 

I have Pavilion DV4-1216TU     S/N - {Personal Information Removed}        P/N - NU264PA#ACJ

 

PENTIUM INSIDE,  3 GB RAM,   320GB HD,    

 

Please advise what to do........

Hi,

First download and install Intel chipset driver from here and reboot system.

Next download and install ALPS touchpad driver from here and restart system.

 

Latest fingerprint sensor driver and fingerprint software you will fin in the link below:

DigitalPersona, Validity fingerprint and Windows 7

 

Latest version of MediaSmart Webcam you may download from here.

i have the same problem...when i start my laptop it shows 'no mouse detected' i have HP ProBook 4710s Windows 7 Utimate 64 bit   p/n NX631EA#AKS Tanks in advance!
