Hi,
I'm running a recent windows OS and I can't disable the touchpad.....the thing is unusable while it's on...it's far too sensitive.
I've seen the info about the light on the touchpad...that hasn't worked.
When I click into "Mouse" I don't get an option to "disable" the PS/2 ...I can "uninstall" via the device manager which works but keeps turning itself back on!
It's driving me insane...please help!

Hi,
Your machine has On/Off button as shown:
Please use your finger touch (or quick double touch) to the area (#3 above) to turn On or Off the touchpad.
Regards.

I am having EXACTLY the same problem as Blondiegirl76. None of the noted on/off options are availble in the setup menus and the light on the touchpad is useless. The overly sensitive touchpad makes it virtually impossible to type anything without it scrambling up the cursor location.

I am having the same problem. I don't have any options in control panel for the touchpad and taping the white light on the pad does nothing. At home I attach my old Dell keyboard but when I travel I can't. Any ideas on how to turn it on to turn it off?
