All,
I have a HP ENVY 15-j150us Notebook upgraded to Windows 10 (64-bit) with four (4) USB 3.0 ports, two on the left side of the laptop and two on the right. The 2 USB ports on the left (the ones affixed to the motherboard) work fine. However, the two USB ports on the right (the ones on the controller card) do not work as intended. I do not believe it is a hardware problem as the ports will charge my android, but not detect the device to view its contents.
I’m thinking it may be a driver issue, so would anybody be able to help me locate the correct driver to get the USB 3.0 ports on the controller card working again?
Thanks!

No luck after installing the Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver and Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver. The Device Manager for the USB controller looks the same and Windows Update showed my computer was up to date after performing the installs.
