I haven't tested your PC model but for others I have tested the Validity sensor was automatically installed/recognized by Windows itself. Have you tried going to Control Panel > Device Manager and trying to update the driver ? Use this method (device manager way) >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139
If the above didn't help, you may try the Lenovo versions available here >> http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/bg/en/downloads/DS103635
