I currently have 4MB of RAM and want to upgrade. What is the maximum upgrade for this model and what size slots are available, for example 2MB or 4MB slots?

The service manual says it takes up to 8 gigs...2 x 4 gig chips and it will use up to the speed of DDR3-1600 mhz but seems it will downclock to 1333 mhz. This is what you need right here:
