Tried the BCDEDIT option, machine was significantly slower on start up. Most impact has been updating INTEL PCI drivers, at least this stopped the never ending stream of logged errors. Still get a single entry on cold boot and a large burst on a restart but this is significantly better than the starting point.

Please provide just your CPU, Graphics, Card Reader and Wifi models.
I want to start an Excel spreed sheet on this.
