I have formatted my laptop and downgraded to window  ultimate 7. The laptop comes pre-installed with Window home basic 8. I have successfully intalled most of the drivers. But I can't found its wifi software after several installments.

I'm very worried about it.please solve my problem.thanks

Hi:

The parts list for your notebook indicates it has a Ralink WLAN card.

This would be the driver you need for it if the parts list is correct.

It would help if you provided  the full Model No. and Product No. of the notebook - see This HP web document if you don't how to locate the model number and\or product number.

2.  The complete version and name of the operating system you are using ( ie Windows 7 64bit ).

Enter the device manager and right click on the wireless device. Post the PCI\VEN information or a screenshot of what you see. See the following image.

That is not the correct device. The PCI\VEN you supplied is for a realtek PCIE card reader.

I notice you have not identified your notebook. If you want help this is going to have to be a two way street. Lets not make this difficult. Please use the link and HP document i shared with you to identify your notebook.

I still need you to go to the device manager and expand the network adapters section as seen in the image I provided. Get the PCI\VEN information for the device which is shown as not having a driver installed and post it here. I can't do that for you.

Unless I know which of the four optionally installed wireless adapters is installed in your notebook, it is quite difficult to help you.

All of the Windows 7 wireless adapter drivers available on the HP web support portal are here
