Windows update win Windows 7 sometimes won't correctly recognize your hardware, which is likely to be Conexant High Definition Audio.

It will install the generic version "High Definition Audio" that doesn't work in most cases. If so, take a look at the solution I posted here:

It worked for me.

help... is my temp normal? i find it a bit high.... i did install all the drivers uv recommed... i hav dv2810us....

Looks pretty high to me. I also have the dv2810us and my Temps are posted within this thread somewhere. Did it run that hot in Vista? Have you used a can of compressed air lately to clean all air vents and port openings?

 

Did you install Nvidia video driver from link or did you use one from Windows Update? I have read that the Nvidia modded drivers can cause heat. I opened Control Panel & ran Windows Update manually to install Nvidia Graphics from there.

I found my Temps screenshot that is posted on another page of this thread. I do use a laptop cooling pad,too.

I install the nvidia dirvers from the link.. do i have to uninstall the nvidia driver b4 i ran windows update...

Yes, uninstall Nvidia drivers. The open Control Panel, run Windows Update, choose to also see Optional Updates.There you should be offered Nvidia graphics.

Tell us how high Your temps are right now and which drivers You uninstalled from Your system (it will be good to know which specific file was installed and removed).

Sorry for the late reply... I did all the updates and installation, but nothing happened.. i tried changing the plan setting and here'smy new temp.. is it still high? I havent clean the vent because I dont know how to do it.. hehehe... Do i have to open my laptop when cleaning the air vent.. Thanks for your help... 😃 Im still hoping for new updates so that i can fix my problem... thank you!
