Hi Every one!
I Would like to know if have any BIOS update for this model (DV 2810us). My BIOS version it's F.27 but i want to knwo if exists a newer version.
And some body know how to solve the LAG of Video Graphic NVIDIA 7150M.
I realized that when I go to NVIDIA control panel and modify settings for 3D (performace or quality) of video performance is greatly improved. for example. Doing what I said and closed the panel is only access the 3D FLIP that the difference will be noticed.
Any suggestions guys?

Hello, I have a hp dv2700 special edition laptop and yesterday I have upgraded to windows 7. My problem is that the touchpad is not recognized at all in the devicemanager. The light near the small touchpad button works fine but the touchpad won't respond to anything. I've installed different drivers, still not recognized. Could it be because I didn't follow the guide when intalling win7?
Also there is an unknown device in the device manager with hardware id ACPI/HPQ0007? any ideas?

The laptop belongs to an elderly granny, would be glad to take anyone's help from the Forum; and guide her. I am naive to the forum, and finding difficults in searching for the drivers.

First of all thank to Daniel_Potyrala and all the people who have apported to this threath.
I'll share here my only and my only experience upgrading my notebook dv2536la from vista x64 to windows 7 x64 on September 26 2010, so I hope it saves some time to others.
It won't be necessary -nor efficent- to install all of the listed drivers, since windows 7 installation and
update manager will do it for you so...
Here are some important observations during the installation of the drivers when first updated to windows 7:
*Run Windows updates as soon as you install windows, it'll find and install many of the remaining required drivers.
*Audio drivers will be installed automatically, if you want to install Conexant drivers install Conexant High
Definition Smart Audio HD2 driver for Vista -you'll lose the audio in the first place but you'll have it back when you search for the driver's update through windows update-, besides the driver first installed by windows update makes you computer make a loud weird noise when starting up.
*Do not install Touchpadriver, it causes the cursor 'to jump' when holding down the mouse button -you notice this
when slowly dragging a window for example-, vista driver won't work either, windows will automatically recognize the touchpad anyway .
*Install the original QuickPlay software for Vista 64 -the listed version here freezes, besides, the remote won't work-.
*Use fingerprint reader with windows, most likely Digital Persona won't work with windows 7 yet -I guess unless you buy the software as one user mentioned in one of the replies- I tried to make it work in several ways including the one posted here and didn't work for me-.
You can install the remainig listed software and drivers if you wish to, it probably won't be necessary -i installed them myself though-.

Could you tell us when you see this problem?

If it's not listed there then I suspect hardware problem.

This is HP remote control. Install HP Quick Launch Buttons from first page of this topic and this problem will be solved.

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix the issue when you close your lid and open it back up you have to press the power button for it to resume to Windows. Is there a way to set it up so it just resume when you open the lid as it was in Vista? I would also like to share that when I touch the quickplay button on my touch pad I got the full menu but once I go into either TV or Playlist everything locks up. Will quickplay every work normally with windows 7 or is this something that has to be dealt with? Thank you for your time.
