I tried in normal way, but it didn't work.
After I tried with Leshacat, it worked for a period. The switching between the two cards was working and I didn't care to have the "test modality mode" on the desktop. But now, I don't know why, it doesn't work anymore.
I removed all the old drivers and I donwloaded the upgrade for my pc (sp59850). I installed it and it didn't install ANYTHING.
I had catelyst in the list of program, but there was no shortcut on my desktop or in the right click menu.
So, I installed the Intel driver from Intel web site, I installed again the sp59850 but nothing changed.
I disinstalled the sp5950 stuff and I installed the one from the AMD (12.7 update) and the card are ok but I don't have the swiching mode.
What can I do?If i put "swiching-fixed", it will use alwasy AMD but in battery mode it will use intel one, right?
I swear that I'm not going to buy an HP product even a CD.
Well I double checked and the sp59850 is the correct sp for your system. I would try and download it again. When (if) you getting it running, use the option to uninstall all related software first. Then reinstall it. Also, try downloading it from the ftp site if you haven't already.

Does someone know, what was latest working drivers for ati5650/ati4200? I have DV7-4021.. latest drivers from HP is from 2010, so i bet there is newer working, to install in compatibility mode.
Do you have the 4021so or 4021 tx? Also, I haven't read the previous couple of pages. Have you upgraded to Windows 8?
A quick check of the HP site shows HP not supporting your machine for Windows 8 so if you have upgraded it may be hit or miss on whether you can get everything running correctly.

I actually get it working perfectly. I first installed drivers in compatibility mode from hp site, dated 2010, but CCC didnt worked. Then i dowloaded 11.12, and installed it normally. And it worked, CCC, switchable graphics, all workin.
Congratulations. Nice work! Persistence pays off!

Is there any chances to amd graphic start working in my laptop?!
I've tried probably everything I could...
1. update drivers
2. uninstal drivers (it broke the drivers instalation) so I must use recovery
3. instal drivers
3. tried working on Microsoft drivers
4. leshcatlabs drivers - amd driver couldn't install
5. I don't have an option "Switchable graphics mode" (even when I update the BIOS)
HP Pavilion g6-2260sw
Windows 8

Congratulations.
I have a hd5430/hd4225 hp laptop and I had no chance to install the drivers correctly. I still use Microsoft integrated drivers for hd4200.
I'll try to install old hp drivers as you recommend:smileyhappy:
