Hello!
I'm totally disappointed in searching driver for my 6370M card (dv7-4325sr). AMD already released v13.1.
Somebody solved this problem and runnin' discrete card 6370M without nerves?

I have an Envy 17-3002ea loaner from HP with Windows 8 Pro 64-bit installed. The originally installed OS was Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Since I upgraded to Windows 8 I had not had the switchable graphics available.
I managed a workaround today. The Envy17 notebook does have Windows 8 support, but no HP AMD Windows 8 graphics driver and software available.
I uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center and all AMD files by using the HP Windows 7 AMD graphics software and driver softpaq.
I ran the installer in compatibility mode with Windows 7 as the previous working operating system.
I restarted the OS after the uninstall was complete.
I booted the notebook back into Windows 8 again.
I ran the AMD graphics software and driver softpaq again in compatibility mode and this time selected install.
I chose custom and then clicked on OK.
I was pleased to see that it worked without having to install someone else's modified files. This may be a viable option until HP posts the Windows 8 driver package on the download page for notebooks that have Windows 8 support but no official HP Windows 8 AMD drivers.
I had been fighting this issue for a while and did not want to install Leshcat drivers..
The Windows 8 operating system seems to incorrectly identify the installed Radeon HD 7690M XT discrete module as an Radeon HD 7600M adapter. The Windows 7 AMD graphics driver softpaq that I installed today corrected that.
I hope this helps others who are having the same issue that I was. 🙂
Best regards,
erico

Try compatibility mode with the old windows 7 drivers. We have the same graphics card so it should work.

Is there any chance that HP will make GPU driver for Windows 8? Should we wait for it?
If your notebook is one that has Windows 8 support but no switchable graphics driver and CCC software that may happen.
The workaround as we have described with Windows 7 driver software incompatibility works for us.
If you would like to be able to use switchable graphics again it would seem that you should give it a try.
You won't know until you try. Don't forget to give us your sucess or failure story here in the thread so more people can be informed of successes with different notebook models.

1. Uninstall HP Support Framework
2. Uninstall Intel HD and ATI you can find under Programs and Features
3. Download the lastest ATI software from HP and HP Support Framework.
4. Install in this order - Install HP Sup Framework
5. Reboot PC
6. Install ATI
7. Viola installation successful. Switching is working
