Recently my laptop suddenly shrunk the display down to 1024x768, even in BIOS and when starting up. In Windows, the monitor is recognized as "Digital Flat Panel, 1024x768, 60Hz". Here is a photo I took with my mobile phone:

Can someone please help me identify the issue and provide me a solution to this problem? Thank you in advance.

This is not a resolution problem. This is the case when Windows didn't recognize the monitor so it used the default settings for the unrecognized device. After I run a sfc command and run Windows Auto Update, the problem has been resolved.
