Sure! It's my pleasure 🙂
Thanks for providing that information. Actually, you provided your product name which is a really high-level category. In other words there are lots of different Pavilion g6s. I was looking for the product number which should be on that same window when you press FN + ESC. If you don't happen to see it there, you can find it on a label on the bottom of the computer. It should look something like this:
It won't be exactly those letters and numbers but in a similar format.
For the wireless card brand, model and version number, open Device Manager and expand Network Adapters.
It may not be the Broadcom 4313GN, but it will have one of the words 'wireless', 'Wi-Fi', or '802.11' on the wireless line.
If it still doesn't seem to be there, you could provide a screenshot of the Device Manager window with Network Adapters expanded and I'll be glad to help you locate it. Here's how to take a screenshot. If we're still not seeing a wireless device listed under Network Adapters, you're issue may be pretty simple. We would just need to download the wireless driver for your model.
Let me know if you have any questions with those steps 🙂

Thanks for the product number and no worries about the photo 🙂
You definitely have a BIOS update. The latest is
Download and install that version. During the installation, your computer will restart on its own. Allow it to restart and get back to the Desktop.
For your wireless driver, there are a few different card brands that could be in your unit and I want to make sure I link you to the correct driver. Since it isn't in Device Manager, I'll need you to open the bottom and look at the label on the wireless card itself.
Here is your Maintenance and Service Guide. Wireless card (WLAN module) removal begins at the bottom of page 49. The label on the card will show the brand and model of one of the card options listed at the top of page 49. Make note of the brand and model number. Let me know what that is and then replace the card.
Let me know if there are any questions on the steps above 🙂

@Narutoninjaqiu
I don't know if you got a chance to look at this link where a user was having the same issue, but he had forgotten that Norton came pre-installed on the computer and had installed Comodo, another security app. As soon as he uninstalled Norton (since he preferred Comodo), he was able to connect through LAN and wirelessly with no problems.
There's a chance that either Norton 360, Internet Securities or Microsoft Security Essentials could be installed and running without you being aware causing a conflict with ZoneAlarm's firewall/internet security. That is why I suggest checking the Startup list and looking for either of those or other 3rd party programs that could've snuck in as they often do with various app and toolbar installations.

It didn't work, I uninstalled a bunch of crap that I didn't need 😞 (also uninstalled Norton 360 + Mcaffee <--- or something like that + ZoneAlarm) It would be very much appreciated if you come up with another fix soon

I had same issue and before i tried uninstalling everything and reseating the wireless card I tried the following. Open network properties > Highlight the wireless card > Click the Diagnise this Connection link above > Windows8 will Ask if you want to apply the fix, say yes. Bingo the card is turned back on.
