Hi,
I am using a g6-1004tx model.
This problem has been persistent for quite sometime now.
After I boot up my laptop, there's a yellow solid screen which appears before the main starup page
comes on.
I have updated all the drivers, but the yellow screen is still appearing.
Kindly look into this.
Regards,
Aditya

Hello @AdityaKumar ,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand your notebook is flashing a yellow screen briefly before starting up.
I've seen similar issues before. Am I safe in assuming that the notebook is working fine otherwise?
In order to assist you I need to know which operating system you are using. To see which version of Windows you are using click here: Which Windows operating system am I running?
It sounds to me like the issue is the result of the graphics card loading drivers slowly or error's while loading in some way. Please try to boot into safe mode and tell me if you experience the same problem. You can see how to boot into safe mode here: Start your computer in safe mode (Windows 7) or Start your computer in safe mode (Windows 😎.
If the issue does not occur in safe mode reinstall the drivers for your graphics card(s). You can find them here: HP Pavilion g6-1004tx Notebook PC Drivers.
If the issue persists in safe mode it's most likely hardware related. Take a look at the following guide to test for hardware failures: Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 7) or Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 😎. You will want to run the System test and the Video test.
Let me know if any of this helps.
