Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

After I upgraded my laptop to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8, on startup after a while I'd get an error message for something called AccelerometerSt.exe giving me error (0xc000007b). How do I get rid of it? After some googling, I've found that it has happened on Windows 8.1 a bit and that it has something to do with HP 3D Driveguard although I'm not too sure.

Hi,

Try the following.

Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
