Product: hp pavilion dv6 3043ca
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I own a dv6 3043ca. Today after an electricity dc, I hibernated it and when i went to restart it after electricity connection, the hard disk light turned orange (amber). Nothing comes up, the screen is black and the capslock light blinks. What is the problem? What can I do? Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

 

I saw your post regarding the amber light and blinking Caps Lock key. This is looking like an issue with the hard drive itself. The blinking Caps Lock light indicates a hardware failure of some sort. How often does it blink? This HP document Computer Does Not Start and Emit an LED or Beep Code has a section on interpreting what the blink codes mean.
