I am unable to watch videos on my HP Pavilion notebook due to constant buffering/freezing/cutting activity. Any suggestions about how to view a video from start to finish without interruption?
Its a brand new laptop, and it was doing this from the beginning. Regardless of which video player i use, vlc, mpc player, PotPlayer.
Out of the 100 days i played videos on my laptop, I only had one clean day in which I was able to watch a movie without interference/freezing.
I am refering to video from my hard drive, but the online streaming video has a natural streaming problem

Hi Naz_sa,
Welcome to the HP forum!
Thank you for your query, I will do my best to assist you.
I understand you are having an issue with video playback. I will need more information to be able to assist you. Learn how to use the Forum Options. I need to know the exact model you have and what operating system you are running. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
In the mean time, you can try running the HP Support Assistant to help resolve issues. If you are running Windows 7 or lower you can try running MS Fix It to help.
If you are running Windows 8 or 8.1 you can use the built in troubleshooter.
Press the Windows key +C to open charms
Type troubleshoot video playback in the search bar and press enter
Follow the on screen prompts.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I will provide with the requested materials below:
Product name: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Its less of a video playback problem, and more of a Sound Playback problem, sounds like a scratch or skip, everytime my pc maybe over running. But surprisingly it still scratches in the beginning of the laptop starts.
Why do I feel its a ram, cpu, problem?
Anything else I may provide for further assessment?

Hi Naz_sa,
Thank you for your reply.
I grasp that you believe it is more of an audio issue then a video issue. HP produces many models of Pavilion 15 Notebooks, but I need your exact model. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?. I suggest you run the HP Support Assistant to help with updates and resolving issues. You can also try the built in troubleshooter in Windows 8.1.
Press the Windows key +C to open charms
Type troubleshoot audio in the search bar and follow the prompts. Please let me know the results.
