Hi Paul
Yes I too had seen that the Starter Edition was ONLY available with new machines or, to people who built them BUT, I thought that you must know something different and I continued to source a version – didn’t happen tho.
I also found myself a copy of the same Maintenance & Service Guide for the C300 series, but thanks anyway, it would have been handy had I been able to proceed.
To be honest despite, ALL your time and effort, I do believe I am at a stale mate situation and feel really crest fallen about it.
Unfortunately, since starting this last series of spinal surgeries my finances have taken a battering and, as I think I mentioned earlier, I “manage” on state benefits and sadly that does not take into account the of upgrading of ones pc.
Mind you, the Job Centre are all in favour of people doing different Courses within the Community (merely to juggle numbers) and all required typed up work. So, unless you have your own pc, which I think there is still a lot of people who do NOT, you have to make your way to your nearest library, which, since being declared disabled, is just not something I can do easily.
Anyway, enough of the sob story! I do appreciate ALL of your efforts to help me resolve this, I guess it is now tho not in the direction I hoped.
Being new to this also, Im not quite sure how to end the chat, I’ll give it a go at clicking on accepting the solution – or something similar in the hope it does close it down. Am I right in thinking if I click on KUDOS it gives your help somesort of rating, I’ll also try clicking on that too.
Please note though that if these last two clicks do not work I am greatly moved by your willingness to help a complete stranger, I applaud you for that and wish there were many more folks like you. THANK YOU
Regards
Pam
