Hello,

I recently started experiencing problems with the delete and left/right arrow button. When I press the delete button the caps lock button is enabled and a browser opens. When I press the left/right arrows a series of numbers are displayed.

any sggestions on how to address this?

thx in advance.

Hi

Please try these steps and check if your issue gets resolved.

Go to device manager & then uninstall the keyboard driver then restart the unit and have it checked.

Try doing a system restore to the date where unit was working fine.

Let us know how it goes!

The restore option worked like a charm - quick and easy.  HP seems to have some trouble about this, though.  I bought this notebook, and returned it because the delete button didn't work when it was brand new.  They gave me a replacement - this was 2 months ago - and now the same problem.  Wondering whether the touch pad or the keyboard has issues.  Thank all for the help.
