Hello Amith_Raj,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

I have read your post on how your notebook computer is producing an error message when you are playing high-end games, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!

To further diagnose the error message, I recommend following this video on Resolving Blue Screen Errors in Windows 7 and Windows 8. This should help prevent a future occurance with a Blue Screen on your computer:

For further assistance, I will need to know:

  1. The Product and Model Number of your notebook computer.
  2. The version of Windows you have installed on your computer.
  3. If your computer has completed all of its important Windows Updates.
  4. If you have updated your HP drivers using the HP Support Assistant.
  5. If this is an on-going, or recent issue.

  6. Which video games you are attempting to play on your notebook.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, as well as the requested information above. I look forward to your reply!

Regards Smiley Happy

i just tried one more new version that I downloaded from intel website using hardware auto detect in intel website. as per intel it is the best new version for intel hd 4600 graphics card.

but when I try to install it says :

the driver being installed is not validated for this computer.

please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.

setup will exit.

this same error is what im getting for all versions that i download from intel website even though it is ment for my hardware is not installing due to some OEM restrictions that HP has put in the laptop.

Hello Amith_Raj,

Thank you for the quick reply!

Based on the information you have provided in the last two posts, I recommend running the HP Support Assistant to ensure that all of the drivers are up to date. Once the program has scanned for any potential drivers to install, I also suggest using the Intel Driver Update Utility to check your system for any potential updates.

The next step I recommend is to check to see if all of your important Windows Updates are completed. This should help with potential game-play issues requiring an Operating System patch.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your reply!

hello MechPilot,

actually,

1.  I've already checked HP support assistant it has no new updates.

2. today morning I did check intel driver update utility it suggested me to update the driver for intel HD graphics 4600 from      driver version : 10.18.10.3304 to Driver Version: 15.33.22.64.3621.

I downloded it but it is not installing as I described in my last message. It says this driver is not valitdated for ur computer,      I've written the exact error in my last post.

3. In windows updates there are only few security patches and nothing related to video drivers, as I also described in my            previous post I had problems with log in to windows using HP simplepass fingerprint scanner after windows update and I        was suggested by the support person who took the issue to disable windows updates so I've done it.

and since once I did update all the updates in windows update and tried top play games but the same blue screen error was there in my laptop.
