That would be an eBay server issue.

It only gives an error message  of 503 service temporarily unavailable on my ebay page on my LAPTOP. My old computer which is 8 years old works fine on ebay. If it is an EBAY SERVER problem seems like it would do it on both machines, they are both hooked up at my desk.

That is interesting. The error message is what is returned to the web browser when it queries the website. Do a Google / Bing search on the subject with "503 service temporarily unavailable" as keywords if you would like to know more about the error message.

 

the internet and servers are what they are.  It can sometimes be what a sysadmin set his Apache server to respond to a browser query when website or server maintenence is in process.
